full view is really a must if you like blood

Well, i've been watching lots of samurai hardcore movies, with bloody scenes.. can you tell ? the thing is that a day ago i watched "zatoichi: the blind swordsman" and it was a visual orgasm.. i HAD to do something with the theme.. and here it is.

Quick vector piece, simple but it speaks by itself. I really don't have to tell you what happened there.. you can see it for yourself.

Done in illustrator CS 100% - little reference for thie piece, like my hand on the floor and the bridge.

thanks to ~z4sit4 & ~lady-alessandra for constructive criticism during the process.

Very nice!

I like that the only color in the picture is the very red blood while the rest is black or grey which gives it a foggy like look.
Its like a dream.. but the blood reminds you that it just might not be :)
Cant really find anything to critisize :)

Damn, i love this. the silhouetted figures contrast beautifully with the light background, and the blood stains look really good.
Instant fav this is. Great job on it. (Zatoichi owns :D)

Instant love! Only thing I might ask for would be a pool of blood spreading across the floor from the dead guy. Nice job on the hand and the bridge is quite good too. Oh yeah, very nice with the red/grey coloring.

Sweeet! Love the shadows coming through the open door, and very good depth of view. One suggestion might be to make the main chars (sword dude and dead dude) a slightly different (lighter) shade to the door frame, since they look a teeny bit flat against it - could be my monitor brightness settings tho!
